+ A cooling nervine and member of the mint family, Lemon Balm contains a wide class of chemicals called terpenes which are known to calm nerves and reduce anxiety. Used since the Middle Ages to help promote sleep, improve appetite, ease pain and discomfort from indigestion and headaches

+ Well-known for its calming and soothing effects on the nervous system, Passionflower boasts antispasmodic, hypnotic, anodyne, anxiolytic, and sedative actions as well although is milder in its effects than Valerian

+ Another member of the mint family, Scullcap has long been used in herbal remedies to quiet nervous tension and ease muscle spasms, and may be hellpful for anxiety associated with a restless mind

+ Infuse one tablespoon per cup of water for 10 - 15 minutes before straining
